Hive Surface Group was founded by Melissa Peters, a Vancouver, British Columbia–based sales and market development professional with over 15 years of experience working with architects, designers, developers, and real estate professionals.

Through her work in surface material representation and marketing-driven roles within the development sector, Melissa gained deep insight into how products are introduced, positioned, and ultimately specified within project environments.

Recognizing the gap between hiring a full-time regional employee and relying on broad-line distributors, she created Hive Surface Group to offer international manufacturers a more focused and strategic presence in Western Canada.

By representing a curated portfolio of non-competing brands, Hive Surface Group provides dedicated market development, direct engagement with the design community, and clear brand positioning within the architectural and design market.
